Does Convergence have the ability to integrate with other software, such as Peachtree and Outlook?

Yes. Convergence supports most common export formats. We are open to automating export to a specific target software as required.

 

Do you have access to our data?
No.  We will never have access to your data or your usernames/passwords.  We will only assist you in setting up your domain name and SSL certificate.  From that point forward, it is up to your office to create your own usernames and passwords.
 
I just paid for my program.  What are the following steps?
First, we will assist you in setting up a domain name of your choice.
Second, we will assist you in setting up an SSL certificate for security purposes.
Third, we will have our programmers install the program onto your domain name.
 
Is Convergence HIPAA compliant?
This is not the correct question to ask.  The question to ask is whether your organization has an obligation to be HIPAA compliant, and can Convergence help you meet that obligation?  It can. Convergence is designed to be a secure and encrypted program that will allow your company to be HIPAA compliant if you have implemented other HIPAA requirements.  These requirements are numerous and some examples are the use of secure servers, completion of a privacy risk assessment, and appointment of a security official that will implement HIPAA complaint policies.  Ultimately, it is your responsibility to ensure that you stay HIPAA compliant.  However, the proper use of Convergence software certainly is an excellent way of proving your compliance with aspects of HIPAA.
 

Can Convergence be purchased in compartments, such as Billing and Calendar only?

Unfortunately, no.  We only sell Convergence as a whole case management software.  Trust us, once you start using it, you won’t be able to stop exploring all its useful features!

 

Can we use our existing templates, letters, and reports?

Yes, Convergence has an easy template creator where you can copy and paste your current templates.  

 

Is there an option to have different billing and rates for different types of cases?

Yes.

 

Is there an option to have different billing and rates for different users?

Yes.

 

Can there be multiple users at one time?

Yes, another great feature of Convergence.

 

Is Convergence compatible with Apple?

Yes.  Any device capable of browsing the web, including Macs, iPads, or iPhones, can use Convergence. The Macintosh OS could also run a Convergence server, but we recommend Linux for the server end.

 

We just got a new required PDF form and it won't let us save data! Can Convergence help?
Yes, just upload the PDF into the template editor, and start drawing your data fields onto the form. Pick data field names from a handy menu, and Convergence will generate filled PDF's as often as needed, saving your data every time.

Can I keep users from seeing confidential data while having them input data?
Yes, Convergence user privileges allow a wide range of flexible settings to control how much or how little data a user might see. Users can be restricted to only cases assigned to them, and even templates can filter out confidential data.

We need to know when a change was made to some case data, and by whom. Can we find this?
Yes, Convergence tracks all editing events with a timestamp and which user performed the edit.

We're discontinuing a custom data field. Will reports on old cases go haywire?
No, Convergence still keeps records of deleted fields and will still correctly populate templates that refer to them.

Can we access our database directly?
Yes, MySQL service is always bundled with a tool called PHPmyAdmin which lets you see for yourself all tables and data, make corrections, recover historical journaled data, or export the database in a variety of formats.
